Alumni Discount
U of MN Alumni Association dues-paying members always earn savings when they book an event at McNamara. Members at the multi-year and life member levels receive 10% and 20% discounts (respectively) on their meetings and events. These discounts cannot be combined with a second promotion. Just Opened Up!
Friday, September 13, 2024 was booked in Memorial Hall but has just opened up and is now available for YOU! This date will not be available for long. Book now and we’ll take 10% off your room rental! Perfect date for a wedding, gala or fundraiser!
Weddings
Planning a wedding in less than six months can be done and our team is here to help you through that process. McNamara has some open dates in August 2024 in both of our large and small zones: University Hall for < 150 people and Memorial Hall for > 150 people.
Book Saturday, August 17 or Saturday, August 24 and receive $500 off your rental package and complimentary sparklers for your reception send-off.

Conferences
Book a conference in July or August and we’ll waive the charges for any of our owned furniture and equipment including pipe & drape and portable whiteboard. We also have some open Fall 2024 dates too with all rooms available, but inquiries come in daily so book a date now!
Throughout the year if you book a 3-day conference, you qualify for a multi-day discount—your third day’s room rental is reduced by 10%.
Galas
McNamara is happy to always offer “fundraiser freebies” to non-profit organizations that book a fundraiser gala with us. These free items include storage and parking at our front entrance among many attractive conveniences. Visit Galas to learn more.
